  1. Hi Dale,

My name is Lisa Walters and I am a soapstone carver in Edmonton, Alberta. I just finished watching your YouTube video and wondered if you might be able to provide any advice. Currently I just work with hand tools but would like to explore working with electric tools. It appeared as though you were using a Foredom, if so can you tell me what model you were using and what attachments work with with soapstone? Do you always carve outside or do you also go inside? We recently moved and I am setting up a workspace in my garage, keeping the use of electric tools in mind. Given this, I need to devise something that will help with dust control. Is this an issue that you have had to deal with? If you have any information to share on dust control, vacuums, bellows, air masks, etc., I would be so grateful to hear from you. Thank you for your time. Really enjoyed the video.

    Sincerely,

    Lisa
