- I began painting in oils at about 14 years of age, later in Alaska began sculpting in soft stone such as soapstone & alabaster. After some time in the Air Force I worked as an engraver for a jade cutter in Alaska where I learned how to scrimshaw ivory. I have been playing the guitar since I was 7 years old & have recorded 5 CDs, which are listed at www.cdbaby.com/cd/dalebrown. My wife Peggy and I have owned several sailboats on which we have explored the Pacific coast of Canada, Alaska and Puget Sound. We have been involved in a number of Christian missionary projects in Haiti, England, Alaska and around the U.S. You can experience some of those adventures in my book YOUR FATHER in HEAVEN: Devilish or Divine. I take regular speaking and music engagements at various church and civic events.
